Prosecutors had planned to make their indictment decision known on Thursday. Narinphong Chinaphak, a lawyer representing Mr Watana, said he would represent his client at Thursday's meeting with prosecutors as Mr Watana was not required to attend in person. On hearing the warning, the party cut the number of speakers to three -- Mr Chusak, Mr Chaturon and Mr Watana. Mr Chaturon said back then that he and seven other Pheu Thai politicians had been deliberately singled out for prosecution by the regime. He argued the press conference should not have been regarded as a political gathering either in substance or form.
